A configurator that stays in onderdelen, kopmaat, lengte and start- en eindbewerking on the way in, and writes the machine file quietly at the end.
The gap this closes is small and expensive. A carpenter draws the parts, someone at the machine types them in again, and the second typing is where the mistakes live.
Kerf removes the second typing. What the workshop describes in its own words becomes a machine file, checked against the official schema before it leaves.

BTLx is a published standard and we validate against it. BVX is not. It has no public specification, so we calibrated it against real production work and check every release against that corpus.
